VISECCO with Pinot Meunier - Vin Spumante alcohol-free

An alcohol-free sparkling wine that focuses on complexity rather than empty sweetness. The Visecco with Pinot Meunier from the Jörg Geiger winery proves that sparkling alternatives can exhibit real character. Here, traditional Swabian meadow fruit meets the elegant nuances of Schwarzriesling.

For this cuvée, Jörg Geiger uses old apple and pear varieties that naturally have a high tannin content and pronounced acidity. To give the Visecco depth and structure even without alcohol, the winery employs a traditional technique: oak twigs and red currants are added during the gentle pressing process. The juice is then macerated with select herbs and spices, while consistent cooling in stainless steel tanks prevents any fermentation.

A fine perlage is visible in the glass. On the palate, a fresh, invigorating acidity dominates, closely interwoven with the clear fruit of red currants. The mild, vinous notes of the Pinot Meunier harmoniously balance the sweetness and ensure a well-balanced, crisp finish. Served at a temperature of 8–10 °C , this Visecco pairs beautifully with fruity desserts such as raspberry tart, but also complements delicate poultry terrines or makes a sophisticated aperitif.
