35 degrees Sauvignon Blanc
An alcohol-free white wine inspired by a white Bordeaux – made from Sauvignon Blanc (50%), Sémillon (40%), and Muscadelle (10%), all from the Gironde region. Jörg Geiger dealscoholizes the base grapes and combines them with fruit juices and extracts, following the principles of a Swabian fruit wine manufactory.
Jörg Geiger's manufactory in Schlat, located in the Swabian Alps, is known for its non-alcoholic alternatives to wine and champagne – developed using heritage fruit varieties and traditional methods. The focus is on depth and complexity rather than sweet fruit juice.
The nose reveals aromas of gooseberry and peach, complemented by a herbal, hay-like note. On the palate, the 35 Grad Sauvignon Blanc is fresh and slightly tart – the acidity of the pear provides structure, while the Muscadelle grapes contribute a floral finish. It's not a heavy finish, but rather a dry and invigorating one.
- Temperature: 8–10 °C, serve well chilled
- Food options: Goat cheese salad, grilled asparagus, light fish dishes or as an aperitif
- Occasion: A non-alcoholic dinner companion that will not disappoint even the most discerning palates
