PriSecco Cuvée No. 11
The PriSecco Cuvée No. 11 from the Jörg Geiger manufactory is not a wine in the classical sense – but an alcohol-free cultural asset made from old fruit varieties of the Swabian Alb.
Jörg Geiger specializes in processing heritage fruit varieties that are rarely cultivated elsewhere: Champagne pear, Bohnapfel apple, Welschisner apple. His manufactory in Schlat, Württemberg, presses, ferments, and refines these fruits using the traditional Champagne method – with lees aging, disgorgement, and precise dosage. Not wine, but crafted to the highest standards.
On the nose, ripe Boskoop apples, a hint of oak leaf, and delicate herbal spice. On the palate, juicy and dense, with a clear citrus note that balances the sweetness. The tannins – from the skins and seeds of the fruit – give the finish structure and length rarely found in non-alcoholic alternatives.
