Vintage Port 20% vol Ramos Pinto 0.75L
The Ramos Pinto Vintage Port 1982 is a matured port wine with unmistakable depth — warm brown in the glass, with an aroma profile that reflects decades of bottle aging.
Ramos Pinto is one of the traditional houses of the Douro Valley, founded in 1880 in Vila Nova de Gaia. The house is known for its Quintas in the upper Douro and for a classic vintage style that relies on concentration and long aging potential. Vintage Ports are declared and vinified exclusively in exceptional years.
On the nose, walnut, leather, and coffee appear, supplemented by a restrained fruit that gives the wine complexity. On the palate, it appears mature and round, with a long, spicy finish. The tannins are completely integrated after more than four decades.
Best served at 16–18 °C — pure after the meal, with blue cheese like Roquefort, or with dark chocolate with a high cocoa content. Decant before pouring to separate any deposits.

The Ramos Pinto winery dates back to 1880, when Adriano Ramos Pinto laid the foundation for the wine production that bears his name. The estate developed rapidly and achieved worldwide renown – not least thanks to its membership in the Roederer Group. After business flourished in its home country of Portugal, exports to the Brazilian market began. Today, Frédéric Rouzaud manages the winery, continuing the tradition of five successful generations.
