Villa Gemma Bianco Abruzzo DOC

Villa Gemma Bianco Abruzzo DOC
Three indigenous grape varieties from the hills of Abruzzo – Trebbiano, Pecorino and Cococciola – combine to create a white wine that impresses with its clear freshness and regional character.
The Masciarelli winery is among the most renowned names in Abruzzo. Gianni Masciarelli transformed it into one of the region's most modern wineries starting in 1981; today, his wife, Marina Cvetic, manages the estate, cultivating over 300 hectares of vineyards around Chieti. The Villa Gemma line represents meticulous craftsmanship from the heart of this mountainous landscape.
In the glass, the Bianco displays pale straw-yellow hues. The nose offers white peach, lemon zest, and a subtle herbal spice – a typical signature trio for this grape blend. On the palate, the acidity carries the wine through with a fresh and crisp character, without being harsh; the Cococciola contributes a slightly saline note, while the Pecorino provides body and a dry, lingering finish.
