Villa Gemma Bianco Abruzzo DOC

Villa Gemma Bianco Abruzzo DOC
Three indigenous grape varieties from the hills of Abruzzo – Trebbiano, Pecorino, and Cococciola – result here in a white wine that convinces with clear freshness and regional character.
The Masciarelli winery is one of the most famous names in Abruzzo. Gianni Masciarelli developed it into one of the most modern operations in the region starting in 1981; today his wife Marina Cvetic continues to run the estate on over 300 hectares of vineyards around Chieti. The Villa Gemma line stands for artisanal care from the heart of this mountainous landscape.
In the glass, the Bianco shows pale straw-yellow tones. The nose delivers white peach, lemon zest, and a subtle herbal spice – a typical fingerprint trio of this grape variety combination. On the palate, the acidity carries the wine fresh and taut through, without cutting; the Cococciola brings a slightly saline note, the Pecorino provides body and a dry, lingering finish.
- Food recommendation: Pan-fried sea bass with capers, Pecorino cheese from Abruzzo, light pasta with seafood, or grilled vegetables with lemon
- Serving temperature: 10–12 °C
