Marina Cvetic Cabernet Sauvignon IGT

From the single vineyard Colle Rosina directly in front of the main winery – a Cabernet Sauvignon that shows Abruzzo's heart: powerful, but with precision.

Masciarelli is one of the pioneer houses of the region. Marina Cvetic, the wife of founder Gianni Masciarelli, built this line – a tribute to craftsmanship and terroir. The vines on the Colle Rosina are over 40 years old, the yield is kept deliberately low, and the grapes are brought directly to the winery without transport routes. After fermentation, the wine matures in French oak barriques, followed by long bottle aging. Total production: around 3,000 bottles.

In the glass, it shows deep aromas of blackcurrant and blueberry, underpinned by cedarwood and a hint of dark chocolate. The body is full and dense, the tannins ripe and velvety – no pressure, but volume. The finish lasts long, spicy, and with a pleasant freshness.

Serving temperature: 17–18 °C. Pairs with braised lamb, entrecôte, or aged Pecorino – or for a quiet evening when the wine gets full attention.
