Tufarello Nero di Troia Puglia IGP
The autochthonous grape variety Nero di Troia is grown in the region around the picturesque small town of Canosa di Puglia in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani.
Winemaking takes place after a gentle harvest by soft pressing, followed by fermentation for approx. 15 days. After the yeasts have settled, malolactic fermentation takes place. Before the wine is bottled, it matures for approx. 6 months in stainless steel tanks.
The Tufarello Nero di Troia shows a radiant garnet-ruby red color. The nose reveals intense fruit aromas of dark berries and violets. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with balanced tannins.

The Winery
Discover the Vigneti del Vulture winery, which gets its name from the Il Vulture volcano, which created mineral-rich lava soil in prehistoric times, thus offering excellent conditions for the vines of the Pipoli and Piano del Cerro wines. The rosé as well as the white wine present fruity, floral notes, whereas the red wines lean towards spicy notes.
