Conte di Lucca Riserva Brindisi DOC

Gambero Rosso rightly raves about the "great power of the terroir and local traditions" that characterizes the wine world of Apulia. Here, in the heel of Italy's boot, Italy's most renowned wine guide praises the fact that the local grape varieties produce "precisely the wines that the market demands today: the robust, full-bodied Primitivo, for example, or the warm, complex Negroamaro, distinguished by its structure and high aging potential." The grapes for the Conte di Lucca Riserva come from select vineyards in the Apulian region of Brindisi DOC. The poor soils, old vines, and an ideal climate yield highly aromatic grapes. The Negroamaro grape, which defines this wine, is also the most important grape variety of the region. A 12-month aging period in oak barrels lends this elegant, fruity, and intensely aromatic Riserva a velvety-smooth oak note and harmoniously rounds off its distinctive character.

Vinicola Bove

Vinicola Bove comes from Italy – a country that doesn't just produce wine, it lives and breathes it. Behind the name is a winery deeply rooted in Italian wine culture, crafting wines that reflect the character of their origin.

What we like about Bove: their honest approach to what the region has to offer – no hype, just real substance in the glass. Wines you don't need to explain, you simply enjoy them.
