The Pipoli Bianco from Vigneti del Vulture is a dry white wine from Basilicata. It has aromas of apricot and citrus and remains light and fresh with lively acidity. It pairs well with fish, seafood, and salads, and is also a great choice for every day.
Two grape varieties from Southern Italy. Greco and Fiano are two ancient white grape varieties from Southern Italy. Greco brings freshness and a mineral note. Fiano gives the wine fullness and aromas of ripe stone fruit. In the Pipoli Bianco, Vigneti del Vulture combines both into a cuvée: fruity, but not heavy.
Volcanic soil on Monte Vulture. Monte Vulture is an extinct volcano in the north of Basilicata. Its lava soils are rich in minerals and provide good conditions for the vines. You can taste this as a clear, juicy freshness in the glass.
How the Pipoli Bianco tastes. In the glass, it is light yellow with green reflections. On the nose, it shows dried and fresh apricots and sweet blossoms. On the palate, citrus fruits and tropical fruit are added, and the acidity keeps the wine lively. It matures in stainless steel tanks, without wood. That is why the fruit remains in the foreground. With 3.3 g/l residual sugar, it is clearly dry, and at 12.5% vol., it is rather light.
What it pairs with. Drink the Pipoli Bianco at 8–10 °C. It pairs well with grilled fish, seafood, antipasti, pasta with vegetables or light tomato sauce, and salads.

We discovered the ordered wine in Dessau in an Italian restaurant. We ordered it immediately because we liked it so much. Now we have a few bottles at home. The delivery was very fast at a good price.

Discover the Vigneti del Vulture winery, which gets its name from the Il Vulture volcano, which created mineral-rich lava soil in prehistoric times, thus offering excellent conditions for the vines of the Pipoli and Piano del Cerro wines.
