Terra Montosa Riesling QW Rheingau 0.75L
The Terra Montosa from Georg Breuer is the classic introduction to the Rüdesheim and Rauenthal Cru sites — a dry Rheingau Riesling with clear language of origin and without frills.
Georg Breuer is one of the defining wineries of the Rheingau. The family stands for site-typical, dry Rieslings from the steep slate soils around Rüdesheim and Rauenthal. The name Terra Montosa — Latin for "steep earth" — is the program: the grapes come exclusively from these steep slopes, which give the wine a basic mineral tension that cannot be achieved in the lowlands.
In the glass, it shows the typical Rheingau signature: aromas of white peach and citrus peel, plus a fresh, firmly structured acidity and a mineral-salty finish. The body is slim, the drinkability high — a Riesling that does not want to be pompous, but precise.
Served well-chilled at 8–10 °C, it accompanies asparagus with hollandaise sauce, fried zander, or a young goat cheese. It also cuts a fine figure as an aperitif on a warm evening.

Georg Breuer Winery from Rüdesheim – Rieslings you won't forget. Clear, precise, full of character. The steep slopes of the Schlossberg hill, with terraces of up to 65 percent incline, are no place for machines. Here, handwork, experience, and a good intuition are what count. Only the best grapes make it into the bottle – the rest stay out. That's a principle, not a promise. In the glass: mandarin peel, red apple, white peach. Slender, vibrant, straightforward. And a special detail: Every year, an artist designs the label for the Schlossberg wine. An invitation to take a closer look – at the bottle and at what's inside.
