In the glass, the Spätburgunder shows aromas of sour cherry and blackberry, underpinned by a hint of graphite and dry earth. The palate is taut, with lively acidity and fine, well-integrated tannins. The finish remains long and mineral.

On the table, it pairs well with duck breast with lentils, braised beef, or a ripe Tomme from the Alps. Drinking temperature: 16–17 °C.
