Riesling Kabinett Juffer

Riesling Kabinett Juffer
A classic Mosel Kabinett from one of the most famous sites in the growing region – delicate, fresh, and with the typical lightness that makes Riesling from the Middle Mosel so unmistakable.
Schloss Lieser is located directly on the banks of the Mosel between Bernkastel and Brauneberg. The winery manages steep slopes on blue slate – including the Juffer, one of the great single vineyards of Brauneberg with a southern exposure and optimal heat accumulation. The grapes are harvested by hand, which means real manual labor on these steep slopes.
In the glass, the wine appears light yellow with green reflections. On the nose, lemon zest, white peach, and a hint of slate spice. On the palate, light-footed with lively acidity that cleanly integrates the natural residual sweetness of the Kabinett style – no sugar sensation, but balance. The finish is fresh and mineral.
- Food: Asian cuisine with ginger or lemongrass, river trout, goat cheese, light appetizers
- Temperature: 8–10 °C
