Rauenthal Estate Riesling dry QW Rheingau 0.75L
The Rauenthal Estate Riesling from Georg Breuer shows what Rheingau Riesling can achieve on phyllite slate and loess loam: a clear, taut structure with mineral depth that goes beyond pure fruit character.
Weingut Georg Breuer in Rüdesheim is one of the defining addresses in the Rheingau. Bernhard Breuer made the winery internationally known; today, his daughter Theresa Breuer continues to run the estates. The Rauenthal Estate Riesling comes from the sites around Rauenthal in the upper Rheingau — an area with a cooler microclimate that produces Riesling with particularly lively acidity and aging potential. The soils of phyllite slate and loess loam give the wine its mineral character.
In the glass, a dry Riesling appears with aromas of citrus peel, green apple, and a fine stone fruit undertone. The acidity is present but integrated — not a sharp cut, but an invigorating line that lets the finish fade out long and salty. Medium body, clear profile.
Good with asparagus with hollandaise sauce, grilled zander, or a mild goat cheese. Drinking temperature: 10–12 °C.

Georg Breuer Winery from Rüdesheim – Rieslings you won't forget. Clear, precise, full of character. The steep slopes of the Schlossberg hill, with terraces of up to 65 percent incline, are no place for machines. Here, handwork, experience, and a good intuition are what count. Only the best grapes make it into the bottle – the rest stay out. That's a principle, not a promise. In the glass: mandarin peel, red apple, white peach. Slender, vibrant, straightforward. And a special detail: Every year, an artist designs the label for the Schlossberg wine. An invitation to take a closer look – at the bottle and at what's inside.
