The Grappa Poli Barrique Solera di Famiglia offers a subtle amber color.

On the nose, it is reminiscent of toasted wood and coffee. Fine vanilla and cocoa aromas can also be discovered.

On the palate, it is warm and powerful, yet also very harmonious and long-lasting.

Grapes from the vineyards around Vicenza are used in its production. They are delivered freshly harvested and distilled according to the traditional, discontinuous method in a copper pot still. In the discontinuous process, distillation is stopped after each firing process to replace the spent pomace with fresh pomace. The art lies in cutting the heads and tails during distillation and only using the noble main part with its aromas.

The distillate matures in 225-liter barrels made of French Allier oak, in which it matures for 13 years. During this time, the Poli Barrique acquires its characteristic aromas. The alcohol content also naturally decreases during this time from 75% to 55% vol.
