Jacopo Poli Gin Marconi 46 Mini

An Italian gin that combines Jacopo Poli's grappa tradition with classic gin botanicals. Marconi 46 demonstrates what happens when a house with over 100 years of distilling experience dedicates itself to gin.

The Poli distillery in Schiavon, Veneto, has been family-owned since 1898 and is known for its grappa. With Marconi 46, they apply the same artisanal philosophy to gin: small-batch distillation and botanicals from the Italian Alps. The name is a tribute to Guglielmo Marconi, the pioneer of wireless telegraphy.

Juniper forms the clear base, flanked by mountain pine and Swiss pine, which bring resinous alpine freshness. Muscat grapes provide fruity depth, while cardamom and coriander add a spicy structure. The finish is dry and balsamic, with a long aftertaste of pine resin and mint. 46% ABV provides backbone without harshness.

It unfolds its alpine botanicals best neat at room temperature. Try it as a Gin & Tonic with dry tonic and a sprig of rosemary. For a Negroni, the Campari bitterness harmonizes well with the resinous notes.

Jacopo Poli

Po' di Poli – unassuming in name, masterful in glass. For this grappa from the Poli distillery, the addition of "Morbida" (soft, gentle) perfectly captures its essence. The pomace comes from Muscat Blanc grapes grown in the Euganean Hills and is distilled drip-fresh in a copper pot still using the traditional, discontinuous method. The master distiller skillfully separates the heads and tails, retaining only the exquisite heart of the distillate. After six months of rest in stainless steel tanks, the grappa is gently filtered. The result: a grappa of gentle softness and delicate aroma. Truly Poli.
