Gran Bassano Vermouth Rosso

Gran Bassano Vermouth Rosso
A vermouth that shows what happens when a grappa house from the Veneto region applies its distillation skills to aromatized wine: complex, spicy, with a clear signature.
Jacopo Poli has been known for his distillates in Bassano del Grappa for generations. The Gran Bassano Rosso is an extension of this craftsmanship — the base is Merlot from the Veneto region, enriched with an infusion of over twenty herbs and spices.
The nose opens with a rich bouquet of herbs: blessed thistle and musky yarrow lend a bitter depth, rhubarb contributes a slightly tart acidity, and vanilla and allspice add a warm finish. On the palate, ginger follows with a touch of spice, and the finish is long with licorice and a dry, bitter note.
- Temperature: 8–10 °C, over ice or with an orange slice
- Classic uses: Negroni, Americano or Spritz with bitters
- On its own: as an aperitif with olives, salumi or strong hard cheese

Po' di Poli – unassuming in name, masterful in glass. For this grappa from the Poli distillery, the addition of "Morbida" (soft, gentle) perfectly captures its essence. The pomace comes from Muscat Blanc grapes grown in the Euganean Hills and is distilled drip-fresh in a copper pot still using the traditional, discontinuous method. The master distiller skillfully separates the heads and tails, retaining only the exquisite heart of the distillate. After six months of rest in stainless steel tanks, the grappa is gently filtered. The result: a grappa of gentle softness and delicate aroma. Truly Poli.
