Perrin et Fils Gigondas AC La Gille

The Gigondas La Gille comes from the oldest vineyards of Gigondas. The geological features of limestone and calcareous marl with high sand content provide a solid foundation for red wines with elegance and unique aromatic finesse. Grown on a very loamy terroir with stones from the Ouvèze River, Grenache is dominant here, producing a full-bodied wine. Its typical aromas of chocolate, cherries, and figs blend beautifully with the Syrah. The Gigondas La Gille displays an enchanting nose with aromas of cherries, blackberries, figs, licorice, chocolate, tobacco, smoked meat, pepper, thyme, and violets. On the palate, it is complex, full-bodied, juicy, with deep fruit, minerality, subtle spice, abundant velvety tannins, powerful yet elegant, characterized by a freshness and a very long finish.
