"P" Rosé Reserve

"P" Rosé Reserve
A rosé wine that is more than a summer drink: The "P" Rosé Reserve from St. Antony in Rheinhessen shows what Blaufränkisch can do in a rosé – structure, depth, and yet clear freshness.
St. Antony is one of the renowned names in Rheinhessen, a wine-growing region that has long outgrown its reputation as a mass-production area. The Blaufränkisch grape – otherwise more at home in Austria and Burgenland – brings an unusual aromatic density here, which comes into its own particularly well in the rosé.
In the glass, it shows a luminous salmon pink with a copper shimmer. On the nose, wild strawberry, ripe raspberry, and a subtle spicy note that is typical for Blaufränkisch. On the palate, taut acidity, medium body – not a flattering fair-weather rosé, but a wine with bite and length.
Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs with grilled salmon, goat cheese salad, or light pasta dishes with tomatoes. Also a good choice as a companion to tapas and antipasti.

Do you know what happens when a steel company decides to make wine? That's the story of St. Antony . Founded in 1920 in a former limestone quarry, the winery has catapulted itself into the absolute top tier of Rheinhessen wines.
Here, everything revolves around the legendary Roter Hang (Red Slope ). Rieslings grow on the red slate soil, and they pack a punch: mineral, smoky, and full of power [citation:3]. Organic and biodynamic farming has been practiced here since 2006 [citation:2]. The wines from the Pettenthal, Orbel, and Hipping vineyards are among the best in Germany.
Let cellar master Dirk Würtz take you on a journey – from the powerful Blaufränkisch to the elegant Riesling. A truly top German winery waiting to be discovered!
