Maximin Grünhaus Schloss Riesling dry

The Maximin Grünhaus Schloss Riesling trocken is a classic Mosel Riesling from one of Germany's most prestigious single vineyards — for all those who seek elegance and depth in a glass.

The Maximin Grünhaus winery is one of the most traditional estates on the Ruwer, a tributary of the Moselle. The vines grow on weathered slate on steep south-facing slopes—a soil that imparts the wine with its characteristic minerality and subtle spice. The wine is produced dry, with great care and without distractions from the essentials.

In the glass, the Schloss Riesling displays a bright straw yellow color. The nose delights with fresh citrus fruit, ripe mirabelle plum, and a hint of peach—underpinned by the typical slate minerality that makes Mosel Rieslings so distinctive. On the palate, it is lean, precise, and vibrant with a clear, invigorating acidity.

Maximin Grünhaus

Maximin Grünhaus is one of the great names in the German wine world – and has been for centuries. The winery in the Ruwer Valley, a quiet side valley of the Moselle, was once owned by the Benedictine monastery of St. Maximin. Today, the von Schubert family cultivates this heritage with dedication and precision.

The three vineyard sites of Abtsberg, Bruderberg, and Herrenberg produce Rieslings that speak for themselves: delicate, mineral, with that unmistakable coolness and elegance that makes the Ruwer region so special. Whether a fresh and fruity Kabinett or a deep Spätlese – here you can taste history in every glass.
