The Markus Schneider Hullabaloo is dedicated to Markus Schneider's daughter Josephine, and the name evokes the typical chaos of childhood. Therefore, Markus Schneider donates the proceeds from this wine to the Sterntaler Children's Hospice. The wine itself is a clear, yellow color with a slight golden shimmer. This white wine blend of 87% Sauvignon Blanc and 13% Viognier offers an exotic bouquet of kiwi, pineapple, mango, and passion fruit. But it truly shines on the palate! Crisp, fresh acidity, its juiciness, and fine minerality bring a whole lot of enjoyment to the glass!

Since 1994, Markus Schneider from Ellerstadt in the Palatinate region has built a winery that does many things differently from its colleagues: no vineyard designations, no quality labels, but instead modern branded wines with an international mix of grape varieties and an unmistakable character. On approximately 92 hectares, he produces concentrated, fruit-forward wines characterized by late harvesting, yield reduction, and meticulous cellar techniques. The avoidance of herbicides, insecticides, and artificial fertilizers, as well as the FAIR'N GREEN certification, demonstrates that Schneider considers quality and responsibility together. From a small barn on the family farm, a business with an annual production of around 800,000 bottles has emerged—and one of the most distinctive success stories in the German wine scene.
