La Scolca is one of the historic wineries of the DOCG Gavi – the estate played a key role in establishing the appellation in the first place. The vineyards are located in the heart of the municipality of Gavi, on calcareous hillsides in southern Piedmont near the Ligurian coast. This influences the style: lively acidity, a lean body, and no oak aging.

Straw yellow in the glass with green highlights. The nose offers fresh citrus zest, white peach, and a delicate almond note typical of the Cortese grape variety. On the palate, it is lean, with lively acidity and a dry, slightly mineral finish. Not a heavy wine – one that whets the appetite.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C . Drinking window: now until 2026. Pairs well with vitello tonnato, grilled sea bass, Ligurian pesto or mild goat cheese.
