Etichetta Bianca Gavi del Commune di Gavi

Bottled in Bordeaux bottles, it best embodies the tradition of the house, not least because it is its first product. Its vinification method was developed between 1946 and 1950 (at that time it had the name "Gran Gavi"). The grapes from which it is vinified come from young and dynamic vineyards, which give it its own freshness that distinguishes it from others.

Vinified from ripe grapes, this Gavi di Gavi gets a concentrated structure and a harmonious bouquet. The dry taste is enhanced by pleasant fruit aromas.

The Winery

La Scolca

La Scolca is an Italian winery from the Piedmont region. It was founded around 1919 by the Soldati family and is now in its fifth generation under the leadership of Giorgio Soldati and his daughter Chiara Soldati.

The winery's vineyards are located just a few kilometers from the sea, offering perfect temperature conditions. The soils are characterized by limestone and clay, as well as a high iron content. On its total of 50 hectares of vineyards, La Scolca cultivates grape varieties such as Cortese, Cortese di Gavi, or Pinot Noir for the production of its wines.
