Column Zero Cuvée Rouge dry alcohol-free

Column Zero Cuvée Rouge dry alcohol-free
Red wine character without alcohol – and convincingly so: The Cuvée Rouge No. 2 from Kolonne Null shows how far alcohol-free wine production has come in recent years.
Kolonne Null is a German project specializing exclusively in dealcoholized wine. The grapes come from the Spanish plateau of La Meseta – a region known for its robust, ripe red wines. High daytime temperatures and cool nights ensure depth of fruit and structure in the grapes, both of which are noticeably preserved even after the gentle dealcoholization process.
In the glass, a spectrum of dark berry aromas unfolds: blackberry, blackcurrant , and a distinct peppery note in the background. The wine appears youthful and vibrant without being watery. On the palate, there is a pleasant fullness, the acidity is well-integrated, and the finish is short but clean.
- Temperature: 14–16 °C
- Food: Grilled vegetables, lentil stew, vegetarian burgers, mature Manchego cheese
- Occasion: Everyday wine without compromise – ideal if you consciously abstain from alcohol, but not from enjoying wine.

Kolonne Null was founded in Berlin in 2018 and has dedicated itself to a single, clear mission: to make alcohol-free wine that truly deserves the name. No grape juice, no artificial product – but real wine, which, after fermentation, is carefully dealcoholized using vacuum distillation to preserve its aroma and structure. To achieve this, the Berlin team works without its own vineyard, collaborating instead with carefully selected family wineries whose grapes are tasted, blended, and selected in their in-house laboratory. What began in 2019 with 500 bottles at Berlin's weekly markets is now one of the most renowned names in alcohol-free wine in the German-speaking world.
