Hugl Wimmer Weissburgunder fruity sweet
The Hugl winery is one of Austria's young, up-and-coming businesses, which the young Martin Hugl, just 25 years old, took over from his father two years ago together with his wife Sylvia. Nestled in the idyllic wine region near the Czech border, the winery is located in the small town of Poysdorf, in the heart of the picturesque Weinviertel. Only the finest grapes are harvested and processed with extensive experience and expertise. The ripe grapes are gently pressed and fermented at cool temperatures. Aging takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks. The intense bouquet of the Hugl Pinot Blanc is reminiscent of ripe fruit, with a dense, concentrated fruitiness on the palate, fine acidity, and a remarkably persistent, intense finish.

The Hugl winery is one of Austria's young, up-and-coming businesses, which Martin Hugl and his wife Sylvia took over from his father a few years ago. Nestled in the idyllic wine region near the Czech border, the winery is located in the small town of Poysdorf, in the heart of the picturesque Weinviertel. Since 2021, Hugl wines have been entitled to bear the "Sustainable Austria" quality seal. From vineyard work to winemaking and bottling, our entire operation underwent a thorough sustainability review. The certification process assessed the economical use of water, energy, and chemical fertilizers, the efficient use of machinery, fair working conditions, and sustainable business practices.
