Georg Breuer Riesling dry Sauvage

The Sauvage from Georg Breuer is the entry into the Rheingau Riesling craft of this traditional winery — dry-vinified, lively, and immediately ready to drink.

Weingut Georg Breuer in Rüdesheim has been one of the defining addresses in the Rheingau for decades. Known for mineral-dry Rieslings from sites like the Berg Schlossberg, the Sauvage provides the more accessible entry into the range — without sacrificing the profile of its origin.

In the glass, a light yellow with green reflections. The nose shows lemon zest, some white peach, and floral tones — plus a slight brioche hint, which indicates careful yeast work. On the palate, juicy and direct: the acidity is integrated, not sharp, with a fresh, animating finish.

Weingut Georg Breuer

Georg Breuer Winery from Rüdesheim – Rieslings you won't forget. Clear, precise, full of character. The steep slopes of the Schlossberg hill, with terraces of up to 65 percent incline, are no place for machines. Here, handwork, experience, and a good intuition are what count. Only the best grapes make it into the bottle – the rest stay out. That's a principle, not a promise. In the glass: mandarin peel, red apple, white peach. Slender, vibrant, straightforward. And a special detail: Every year, an artist designs the label for the Schlossberg wine. An invitation to take a closer look – at the bottle and at what's inside.
