Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur

Frangelico is a special hazelnut liqueur from Piedmont that will delight you with its silky-smooth taste and aromas of cocoa and vanilla. A fragrance of roasted hazelnuts and a comforting sweetness unfolds on the nose. On the palate, Frangelico enchants with its sweetness of soft hazelnut flavors, elegant Bourbon vanilla, and subtle hints of dark cocoa and freshly brewed coffee. The finish is velvety smooth and remarkably long-lasting, skillfully showcasing the renowned hazelnut aromas. Frangelico is unique not only for its taste but also for the shape of its bottle, reminiscent of a monk's robe. The liqueur's name comes from a monk named Brother Angelico, who lived in Piedmont in the 18th century and produced a remarkable liqueur from local hazelnuts. Even today, only the "Tonda Gentile," considered one of the finest hazelnut varieties in the world, is used for Frangelico. The quality of the hazelnuts therefore plays a crucial role in the liqueur's flavor. Roasted Piedmont hazelnuts taste as if they have been coated with a wafer-thin, elegant milk chocolate glaze and are particularly prized by confectioners in Italy and many other countries. The small nut has become an indispensable ingredient in nougat.

Campari

When you think of aperitivo, you think of Campari. Since Gaspare Campari created his bittersweet herbal liqueur in Milan in 1860, the group has stood for the Italian pre-meal ritual – unpretentious, convivial, and unmistakably red. Today, the Campari Group unites over 50 brands under one roof, including Aperol from Padua in the Veneto region, the non-alcoholic Crodino, and the artichoke bitter Cynar. What they all have in common: recipes that have stood the test of time and a keen sense for the perfect moment in the afternoon.
