Clos La Roquète Blanc

White Châteauneuf-du-Pape with real weight – and yet a freshness that is not always found in this appellation. The Clos La Roquète Blanc comes from one of the most striking single vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley.

The Brunier family, known for their flagship Vieux Télégraphe, manages the three hectares of Clos Roquète with the same care as their top sites. The soils of the appellation – limestone, clay, and the characteristic galets roulés – give white wines made from Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Roussanne their mineral depth and structure.

In the glass, it shows a lush but not sluggish profile: white peach, beeswax, a hint of acacia blossom, and in the background a spicy, herbal note typical of the area. The body is full-bodied, the texture creamy, the finish long and carried by an invigorating acidity that keeps the wine fresh.

Serving temperature 12–14 °C. Pairs well with bouillabaisse, grilled sea bass with fennel, lobster, or a mature goat cheese from Provence.
