Movado Gewürztraminer DOC

The Movado Gewürztraminer DOC from the Andrian winery is an aromatic, exemplary Gewürztraminer from Alto Adige/South Tyrol – made from 100% Gewürztraminer grapes grown on loamy limestone soils at an altitude of 260–380 meters around the wine village of Tramin. Spontaneously fermented and aged on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks, it retains all its typical varietal aromas and freshness.

In the glass, it shines a bright straw yellow with golden reflections . On the nose, it practically explodes with aromas of lychee, grapefruit, rose, orange zest, nutmeg, and white pepper – seductive, intense, and unmistakable. On the palate, it is full-bodied, juicy, and dense, with spicy fruit, a fine, creamy texture, muscular elegance, and a long, lingering finish.

With 14.0% alcohol by volume and an ideal serving temperature of 10–12 °C , it is a perfect accompaniment to curries, foie gras, fried fish, lobster, and spicy appetizers. A Gewürztraminer at its best – elegant, powerful, and irresistibly aromatic.

Cantina Andrian

Cantina Andrian – this is South Tyrol as it should be: rooted in a long history, yet never stagnant. Behind this winery lies a conviction that you can taste in every glass: tradition is not a museum. It is something living, constantly evolving – harvest after harvest, generation after generation. The people at Andrian are always searching for new paths, without forgetting their roots. What does that mean? Wines that embody the soul of the place – the cool mountain air, the mineral-rich soils, the unique character of alpine vineyards – and yet feel fresh and contemporary. Not just managing the status quo, but a truly distinctive style. When you open a wine from Andrian, you drink a piece of South Tyrol – vibrant, honest, and full of character.
