Cabernet Franc Toscana IGT Magnum

A Cabernet Franc from Tuscany – that's not something you can take for granted. While the region is famous for Sangiovese, Villa Santo Stefano proves with this magnum edition what the grape variety can achieve in the climate of central Italy.

Aged for 24 months in barriques and tonneaux, this wine develops structure without being overpowered by oak. The result is a red wine with a distinct character: aromas of sour cherry, raspberry, and a hint of smoke and herbs, typical of Cabernet Franc. The characteristic green notes recede, and the fruit takes center stage. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, with fine, well-integrated tannins and a medium-length finish.

All 1,000 bottles of this limited edition are hand-numbered and hand-signed – a magnum that is also suitable as a gift or table wine for special evenings.
