Cabernet Franc Toscana IGT Magnum

A Cabernet Franc from Tuscany – that is not a matter of course. While the region is famous for Sangiovese, Villa Santo Stefano proves with this magnum edition what the grape variety can achieve in a Central Italian climate.

24 months of aging in barrique and tonneaux – a combination that gives the wine structure without drowning it in wood. The result is a red wine with a clear signature: aromas of sour cherry, raspberry, and a hint of smoke and herbs, as one knows them from Cabernet Franc – the typical green profile remains, the fruit is in the foreground. On the palate, fresh and lively, with fine, well-integrated tannins and a medium-long finish.

All 1,000 bottles of this limited bottling are hand-numbered and signed – a magnum that is also suitable as a gift or table wine for special evenings.
