Nina Toscana IGT

Nina Toscana IGT
A Tuscan red wine that clearly highlights the classic strengths of the region: dark fruit, spice and a pleasant, smooth structure.
Villa Santo Stefano is located in Tuscany, one of Italy's most traditional wine regions. Under the IGT Toscana label, winemakers here have more freedom in their choice of grape varieties—typically, Sangiovese and international varieties such as Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon form the basis of such blends. The result: wines that combine the Mediterranean terroir with an approachable style.
In the glass, the Nina displays a deep ruby color. The nose offers ripe plums and blackberries, underpinned by licorice and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is round and velvety, with soft tannins and a warm, slightly spicy finish.
Serving suggestion: Served at 16–18 °C, it pairs well with pasta with ragù, grilled lamb chops, or a robust pecorino cheese. It also makes a great, uncomplicated accompaniment to a weeknight dinner. Drinking window: now until 2027.
Villa Santo Stefano – a place nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany where history, nature, and passion intertwine in a truly special way. Founded by Wolfgang Reitzle and Nina Ruge around the historic Villa Bertolli near Lucca, this boutique winery has been developing since 2001 with a clear vision: certified organic farming, deep roots in the terroir – and wines that truly have a story to tell.
Whether it's the characterful red wine Loto , the vibrant Vermentino Gioia , or the elegant Rosato Luna – each bottle reflects the essence of Tuscany in its purest form. And to complement it: a multi-award-winning organic olive oil with the Lucca DOP, which reveals in a single drop what this landscape has to offer.
