Nina Toscana IGT

A Tuscan red wine that clearly hits the mark on the region's classic strengths: dark fruit, spice, and a pleasant structure without any rough edges.

Villa Santo Stefano is located in Tuscany, one of Italy's most traditional wine regions. Under the IGT Toscana label, winemakers here have more freedom in their choice of grape varieties — typically, Sangiovese and international varieties like Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon form the basis of such cuvées. The result: wines that combine the Mediterranean terroir with an accessible style.

In the glass, the Nina shows a deep ruby color. On the nose, ripe plums and blackberry, underscored by licorice and dark chocolate. On the palate, round and velvety, with soft tannins and a warm, slightly spicy finish.

Serving recommendation: Served at 16–18 °C, it pairs well with pasta with ragù, grilled lamb chops, or a strong Pecorino. It also makes a great, uncomplicated companion for a weeknight dinner.
