Villa Santo Stefano Loto Toscana IGT

Villa Santo Stefano Loto Toscana IGT
The Loto from Villa Santo Stefano is a Tuscan red wine in the style of the great Bordeaux-inspired cuvées – dark in color, with structured tannins and a long finish.
The winery is located in Tuscany and takes its name from the pond on the estate where lotus blossoms bloom. The Loto wine consciously plays with the tradition of classic French blending and interprets it on Tuscan soil – typical of the IGT category, which allows the necessary freedom for such experiments.
In the glass, it displays dark berry fruit – blackberry, black cherry – complemented by notes of vanilla and a hint of caramel, the imparted by aging in oak barrels. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a chocolatey finish with good length.
- Dishes: Braised beef, lamb with herbs, mature pecorino cheese
- Temperature: 16–18 °C
- Occasion: Dinner with friends or a relaxed evening without a special occasion
