Villa Santo Stefano Sereno Colline Lucchesi DOC Magnum

Villa Santo Stefano Sereno Colline Lucchesi DOC Magnum
A red wine from Tuscany that combines the classic structure of Sangiovese with the soft roundness of the ancient varieties Ciliegiolo and Cannaiolo — and shows its best version in magnum format.
The Colline Lucchesi , the hills around Lucca, are one of Tuscany's quieter DOC zones: less well-known than Chianti or Bolgheri, but with its own distinct character. Limestone and clay soils, maritime influences from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Villa Santo Stefano capitalizes on this terroir and draws on the region's historic blending tradition.
A brilliant ruby red in the glass. The nose offers aromas of sour cherry and ripe blackberry, along with clove and black pepper. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with supple tannins—the Ciliegiolo contributes fruitiness, the Cannaiolo elegance, and the Sangiovese the typical Tuscan acidity. The finish is long and spicy.
The magnum format slows down ripening, keeps the fruit fresher, and is particularly suitable for tables with several people.
