Bollinger La Grande Année Jéroboam HK 3.0L

La Grande Année 2012 in a three-liter format: a dry champagne with a golden shimmer, smoky depth, and lively mousseux. The Jéroboam brings the vintage to the large table.

Champagne Bollinger is one of the traditional houses of Champagne. For this vintage cuvée, the house relies on aging in barriques. Chardonnay provides freshness and tension; more than seven years of maturation give the wine depth without taking away its energy.

On the nose, you will find apricot, almond, and hazelnut, plus a smoky, precise intensity. On the palate, truffle nuances, chocolatey complexity, and exotic nectar are added. The mousseux appears almost youthful, the finish remains long.

Serve it at 8 to 10 °C with lobster, fried turbot, poultry with truffle, or aged Comté. The large format is suitable for parties with many guests and is also a strong gesture as a gift.

The Champagne House

Champagne Bollinger

Bollinger is not a champagne that explains itself – it reveals itself. Since 1829, the house in Aÿ has operated according to the same principles: meticulous craftsmanship, Pinot Noir at its core, and maturity as a mark of quality.

What sets Bollinger apart from many others: The wines are vinified in genuine oak barrels – a process that hardly anyone else undertakes anymore. Riddling and disgorging are done by hand. No shortcuts, no simplifications.

Whether the approachable Special Cuvée or the legendary Vieilles Vignes Françaises from pre-phylloxera vines – there is real attitude in every glass.
