Cecchi

Cecchi – a Tuscan family winery with humble beginnings. In 1893, Luigi Cecchi started as a wine merchant; in 1900, he and his son Cesare created the Cecchi brand. Today, Cesare and Andrea run the company. Cecchi produces wine in various regions of Tuscany – and more recently, in Umbria. Dynamic, yet deeply rooted. Always seeking the next step, without losing sight of its heritage. The wines? Graceful, warm, approachable. Just like Andrea Cecchi: a Tuscan gentleman with style. Cecchi – Tuscany to drink.

Cecchi –
Tuscany in five generations

Cecchi is a Tuscan family winery with a history that began in 1893 – when Luigi Cecchi was still working as a simple wine salesman. Seven years later, he and his son Cesare founded the brand that now bears his name. More than a century later, Cesare and Andrea Cecchi continue to run the company in the fourth and fifth generations – with the same deep appreciation for terroir that Luigi once brought with him.

The wines originate in several regions of Tuscany – from the Chianti Classico zone to the Maremma coast – and more recently, also in Umbria. What unites them is a warm, approachable style that doesn't hide Tuscan fruit and structure behind technique, but brings them directly to the glass. Sangiovese, Vermentino, Vernaccia – each variety in its right place, crafted with the aim of being drinkable and honest.

Those familiar with Cecchi wines recognize a philosophy at play: tradition as a foundation, not a hindrance. The winery is growing, seeking new vineyard sites, yet remaining true to the style that has distinguished the family for over 125 years.
