Haus Klosterberg Pinot Blanc

Markus Molitor's Haus Klosterberg Pinot Blanc comes from one of the most renowned wineries on the Mosel — an estate that has consistently focused on artisanal vinification and hand-harvesting since the 1980s. The approximately 40 hectares of steep slopes between Bernkastel and Zeltingen are considered a benchmark for precise, mineral-driven Mosel wine.

In the glass, this Pinot Blanc shows what the Mosel can do beyond Riesling: pale straw yellow, with notes of pear, white peach, and a fine hint of almond on the nose. On the palate, it presents itself with lively acidity, medium body, and a pleasantly fresh, slightly creamy finish — clearly structured, without heaviness.

It is best served at 10–12 °C with light fish such as zander or trout, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or a mild goat cheese. It also pairs well with Asian dishes featuring coconut milk.
