Zeltinger Himmelreich Cabinet - green capsule

The green capsule, as used by Markus Molitor, signifies dry Rieslings of uncompromising precision. With the Zeltinger Himmelreich Kabinett, you can expect a classic Mosel Riesling that perfectly embodies the steep slopes of the Middle Mosel. The winery on the Wehlener Klosterberg vineyard works with extremely steep inclines and some very old vines. Strictly selective hand-harvesting and late harvesting times ensure low yields and high concentration in the grapes. The subsequent spontaneous fermentation in large wooden barrels gives the wine time to express its origin in its purest form.

In the glass, a delicate bouquet unfolds with clear fruit aromas, underpinned by deep slate notes and spicy wild herbs. On the palate, this Kabinett is wonderfully vibrant and develops a subtle tension. It remains consistently elegant, yet reveals a depth that culminates in a pronounced salinity on the finish. Serve this Riesling at 8 to 10 °C . It is an excellent accompaniment to pan-fried pike-perch on herb risotto, marinated crayfish, or a light quiche with leeks and young goat cheese.

Weingut Markus Molitor

Weingut Markus Molitor stands for Mosel Riesling that clearly expresses the unique characteristics of this German wine region. Hardly any other winery understands how to translate the steep slate slopes of the Mosel into wines that combine minerality, freshness, and depth in their own unique way.

At Vinoscout, you will find a fine selection of four white wines that show what the Mosel has to offer in terms of Riesling – from fresh lightness to mature depth. Each bottle tells its own story: some impress with zesty acidity and a lean structure, others with dense aromatics and an almost creamy texture, which is typical for the best sites along the river.

The bottles are priced between 17.30 and 25.60 EUR, making the range interesting for both uncomplicated enjoyment and special occasions. Whether as a spontaneous companion for the evening or as a highlight on a festive table – at Markus Molitor, you will find Rieslings that bring the Mosel to life in every glass.
