Von Buhl Riesling dry

Von Buhl Riesling dry
The Von Buhl Riesling trocken from Reichsrat von Buhl is a classic Pfalz Riesling for all those who want to experience German white wine in its most expressive form.
It combines the best of two important sites in the Mittelhaardt region: the spicy depth of the Forster soils and the vibrant fruitiness of the Deidesheim vineyards. In the glass, it displays seductive aromas of citrus and white stone fruit, supported by a fresh, precise acidity and the typical minerality one expects from a true Pfalz Riesling. The grapes come from organic farming – certified according to DE-Öko-003.
It is especially enjoyable when young, when the aromas are still in full bloom. It pairs perfectly with:
- asparagus and light vegetables
- Fish and seafood
- Asian-spiced dishes
- Goat's fresh cheese and mild soft cheeses
A reliable companion for everyday life – and an honest introduction to the world of one of the most renowned wineries in the Palatinate.

In 1849, Franz Peter Buhl founded the winery in Deidesheim – emerging from the division of the Jordan estate, which also gave rise to Bassermann-Jordan and von Winning. Today, all three belong to the Niederberger Group. On approximately 56 hectares, nearly 90 percent is planted with Riesling. The top sites are located in Forst – Kirchenstück, Ungeheuer, and Pechstein – in addition to parcels in Wachenheim, Ruppertsberg, and Königsbach. The VDP estate has been organically certified since 2009 and operates biodynamically. Since 2013, the style has been shaped by Mathieu Kauffmann, formerly cellar master at Champagne Bollinger. His signature is particularly evident in the sparkling wines, which are produced using traditional bottle fermentation.
