Villa Poggio Salvi Caspagnolo Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG

Villa Poggio Salvi Caspagnolo Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG
Sangiovese from the hills around Siena – the Caspagnolo from Villa Poggio Salvi shows what distinguishes the Colli Senesi from the great Chianti Classico sites: softer contours, more accessibility, but still true Tuscan substance.
Villa Poggio Salvi lies in the heart of the Sienese hills, one of Tuscany's oldest wine-growing regions. The DOCG Chianti Colli Senesi requires a minimum of 75% Sangiovese – the foundation for a wine that clearly expresses typical varietal characteristics.
A brilliant ruby red in the glass. On the nose, ripe sour cherry, violets, and a hint of dried herbs. Medium-bodied on the palate, with smooth tannins without any harshness, lively acidity, and a pleasant, slightly spicy finish.
Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Drink now until 2027. Pairs well with pasta al ragù , grilled Magliatella, Pecorino Toscano or a simple Bistecca.
