Villa Canlungo Pinot Grigio Venezia Giulia

"One expects nothing less than top-quality wines from Manlio Collavini's winery," writes Gambero Rosso, raving about how the entire Collavini family and their oenologist, Walter Bergnach, are uncompromising in their pursuit of the highest quality. The company was founded in 1896 by Eugenio Collavini as a wine supplier for wealthy Udine society. Today, Manlio Collavini runs the family business in its fourth generation, together with his sons. Collavini is not only a leading producer of high-quality wines in the region. With its distinctive labels, especially those on the Villa Canlungo line, which features a dachshund, the company has also created internationally popular trademarks for Friuli. Today, Collavini has access to 170 hectares of vineyards, both owned and secured through contracts, in the best locations in Friuli. The long-standing contract winegrowers, almost always family businesses in their nth generation, consistently uphold the company's quality philosophy and have played a crucial role in making Collavini a benchmark for top-quality wines from Friuli. A full-bodied bouquet with a delicate spiciness and aromas of hay, fresh walnuts, and roasted almonds characterizes the 'Villa Canlungo'. A refreshingly juicy and intensely flavorful top-quality Pinot Grigio.
