Piedlong Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Color: vibrant ruby red\r\nAmusement: on the nose, lush and complex with aromas of cherries and cherry liqueur, sweet ripe berries (especially strawberries, blackberries), dried flowers and herbs, also earthy notes alongside subtle hints of pepper and licorice\r\nTaste: on the palate, very full-bodied, yet concentrated and powerful with good extract, medium to full body, perfectly integrated fruit (sweet cherries, raspberries) and a velvety texture, clearly focused by the dense, elegant and fine-grained tannins, which give the wine a lovely freshness despite the rather mild acidity, very round, very harmonious, smooth and elegant with a long finish of dark chocolate, spices and a hint of violets
