Val di Suga Rosso di Montalcino

The Val di Suga Rosso di Montalcino is aged for 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels and then for at least another 3 months in the bottle.

The result is a ruby-red wine accompanied by a bouquet of red berries such as cherry and blackcurrants. Its bouquet also contains sweet and spicy notes that enrich the lively bouquet.

On the palate, it shows a beautiful fullness, is soft and displays aromas of ripe fruit alongside elegant tannins. A long finish completes the positive impression.

The Winery

Val di Suga

It is an estate with a unique characteristic that sets it apart from all others in the Montalcino region: three vineyards located in the three different exposures of Montalcino and with very different soils from each other.

The enhancement of these three vineyards and the improvement of their characteristics led in 2014 to the creation of three Brunello varieties: Vigna del Lago (from grapes grown in the vineyard in the north), Vigna Spuntali (from grapes grown in the vineyard in the southwest), and Poggio al Granchio (from grapes grown in the vineyard in the southeast).
