Val di Suga Brunello di Montalcino

The Val di Suga Brunello di Montalcino bathes the glass in a beautiful ruby-red color. On the nose, it is rich and complex, with notes of dark cherries, wild berries, and rosemary. Aromas of blueberries, vanilla, tobacco, cinnamon, and chocolate then appear on the palate.

A Brunello in a classic style with elegant tannins and a long finish.

The wine is aged for 24 months in 50-hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 1 year each in concrete tanks and in the bottle.

The Winery

Val di Suga

It is an estate with a unique characteristic that sets it apart from all others in the Montalcino region: three vineyards located in the three different exposures of Montalcino and with very different soils from each other.

The enhancement of these three vineyards and the improvement of their characteristics led in 2014 to the creation of three Brunello varieties: Vigna del Lago (from grapes grown in the vineyard in the north), Vigna Spuntali (from grapes grown in the vineyard in the southwest), and Poggio al Granchio (from grapes grown in the vineyard in the southeast).
