Val de Rance - Cidre et Poire off-dry

Val de Rance - Cidre et Poire off-dry
A cider that perfectly combines two fruits: Val de Rance ferments freshly pressed juice from sour and sweet apples together with pear juice to create this Cidre et Poire . The result is delicately tart – noticeably drier than classic sweet ciders, without sacrificing fruitiness.
In the glass, fine bubbles, clear apple fruit, pear, and a hint of pineapple on the finish. The acidity remains present without being sharp – well-balanced for a cider of this type.
Well chilled at 6–8 °C, it makes a great light aperitif or pairs well with galettes bretonnes, goat cheese, and light poultry. Those who enjoy dry white wines will find this an aromatically similar, low-alcohol alternative.

Val de Rance is the brand of the cooperative Les Celliers Associés, founded in 1953 by twelve apple growers in the Rance Valley of Brittany – with the aim of pooling resources and creating an authentic Breton cider. Today, the cider mill in Pleudihen-sur-Rance is one of France's leading cider producers and is considered the most awarded cider mill at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris. What distinguishes the cooperative is its consistent approach: more than 99% pure apple juice, no additives, carefully selected old Breton apple varieties – overseen by Maître de Chai Alain Le Page from the first pressing to bottling. It's no wonder that Val de Rance is now available in over 70 countries and in countless Breton crêperies.
