Val de Rance - Brut Cider

Val de Rance - Brut Cider
Val de Rance Cidre Brut comes from Brittany – a region where cider has been as much a part of the table culture for centuries as wine is in Burgundy. Val de Rance uses Breton bitter apples, whose tannin structure and natural acidity give the cider its distinctive style.
In the glass, a clear, golden-orange color with fine bubbles. On the nose, ripe apples and a hint of quince, subtly bittersweet. On the palate, dry and balanced – the malic acid is present without being harsh, the finish fresh and slightly tart.
Serve well chilled: 6–8 °C , in a tall tumbler. Pairs well with galettes bretonnes, seared scallops, or mild goat cheese. Also a good choice as an aperitif before a fish meal.
