Val de Rance - French Cider Brut - 0.33L
Val de Rance comes from Brittany, where cider has been part of the culinary culture for centuries – not a trendy drink, but a regional craft. The Brut version has a clear, orange-gold color and smells of ripe, slightly bittersweet apples.
On the palate, it is dry, crisp, and fresh – with lively bubbles and a clean, apple-fruity finish without sweetness. Typical of Breton cider: low alcohol, lots of character.
Serving temperature 6–8 °C, ideally in a cider glass or wide white wine glass. Classically served with Galette Bretonne with cheese or smoked salmon – but also delicious on its own as a light alternative to sparkling wine aperitif.

Val de Rance is the brand of the cooperative Les Celliers Associés, founded in 1953 by twelve apple growers in the Rance Valley of Brittany – with the aim of pooling resources and creating an authentic Breton cider. Today, the cider mill in Pleudihen-sur-Rance is one of France's leading cider producers and is considered the most awarded cider mill at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris. What distinguishes the cooperative is its consistent approach: more than 99% pure apple juice, no additives, carefully selected old Breton apple varieties – overseen by Maître de Chai Alain Le Page from the first pressing to bottling. It's no wonder that Val de Rance is now available in over 70 countries and in countless Breton crêperies.
