Trenz 2two Sauvignon Blanc dry

Trenz 2two Sauvignon Blanc dry
Sauvignon Blanc from Stellenbosch — juicy, straightforward, with the typical character of this grape variety that immediately whets the appetite.
The Michael Trenz winery cultivates two vineyards in Stellenbosch, South Africa, from which the 2two Sauvignon Blanc is produced. Stellenbosch is one of South Africa's most prestigious wine regions: Atlantic sea breezes, cool nights, and well-drained soils give the white wines here freshness and structure.
In the glass, the wine displays the classic aroma profile of the grape variety: gooseberry, green bell pepper, and a hint of passion fruit. This results in a lively, slightly vegetal fruit profile with tropical depth. Refreshing on the palate, with a mineral note on the finish—dry, with no residual sugar.
Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Pairs well with grilled goat cheese, Asian dishes with lime dressings, shrimp, or a fresh tomato salad with herbs. Also a good choice as a simple aperitif.

The Trenz winery in the Rheingau – founded in 1670. Michael Trenz has been running the family business as owner and cellar master since 1998. On nearly 15 hectares, primarily Riesling is grown, along with Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. The soils consist of Taunus quartzite with a humus layer of only ten centimeters – barren, and for that very reason, mineral-rich. Among the best sites are the Johannisberger Hölle and the Johannisberger Vogelsang. In 2008, Gault Millau named the estate the Discovery of the Year. Since 2002, two hectares in Stellenbosch have been part of the estate – Rheingau signature at the Cape.
