Terre di San Leonardo Rosso Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 1.5L

The Terre di San Leonardo is the more accessible red wine from the house of San Leonardo: lively, cool-fruited, and with a mineral vein. The 1.5-liter magnum fits on the table where several glasses are being filled.

San Leonardo is located in Trentino, in the Vallagarina south of Trento, and the wine bears the designation of origin Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT. The profile lists Cabernet Sauvignon as the grape variety. The location between alpine coolness and warmth from the south explains the style: fruit without heaviness, plus freshness.

In the glass, it shows an intense, lively ruby red. On the nose, raspberry and dark cherry meet herbs and a slightly spicy, balsamic note. On the palate, it is dry, agile, and clearly drawn; the fruit remains cool, and the minerality carries the finish.

Serve it at 16 to 18 °C. It accompanies roasts, juicy steak, or spaghetti bolognese and is well-suited for the large table with family or friends.
