Tenuta Carretta Bricco Manera Nizza DOCG

Tenuta Carretta Bricco Manera Nizza DOCG
The Bricco Manera shows what Barbera can do in Monferrato when location and craftsmanship are right: depth, warmth and a structure that goes far beyond everyday life.
Tenuta Carretta is one of Piedmont's most trusted wineries—an estate with a long history nestled in the hills between Asti and Alba. The Nizza DOCG , recognized as a separate appellation since 2014, is exclusively reserved for Barbera and is considered its most demanding terroir. High altitudes, calcareous clay soils, and rigorous selection define the character of this cuvée.
In the glass, it displays an intense garnet red color. The nose opens with aromas of rose petals, licorice, and cocoa , underpinned by warm spice notes—clove and dark pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with a juicy texture and the lively acidity typical of Barbera, which is well integrated here thanks to the aging process. The finish is long and lingers with a spicy, dark character.
