Santa Maria Aragosta Rosé Brut Vino Spumante

A Sardinian rosé sparkling wine from the Cantina Santa Maria la Palma , a cooperative near Alghero on the northwest coast of Sardinia. The Aragosta line – named after the Sardinian lobster – represents unadulterated island character.

In the glass, a delicate light pink with copper highlights. On the nose, wild berries and ripe cherry, along with subtle floral notes. On the palate, fresh and medium-light, with lively bubbles. The Brut dosage keeps the wine dry; the finish is short and crisp with a saline note.

Serving temperature 6–8 °C . As an aperitif, with grilled prawns, oysters or Pecorino Sardo fresco.

Cantina Santa Maria la Palma – a story of farm workers who had nothing but land and an idea. After the agrarian reform of 1946, they received land between the Gulf of Alghero and the Bay of Ponte Conte. In 1959, 100 of them joined together to form a cooperative. Today, the winery combines modern technology with ancient traditions across 700 hectares. The Vermentino "Aragosta" has become a flagship of Sardinian white wines – good quality at attractive prices. Whether it's method, soil conservation, or technology: for them, quality always comes first.
